Woman Steals and Discards Rs 50 Lakh Diamond Ring, Police Recovers It from Commode

In a surprising incident in Jubilee Hills, Telangana, a woman stole a diamond ring worth Rs 50 lakh from a dental clinic. Fearing the consequences, she quickly disposed of the ring by throwing it into a commode. However, with diligent efforts from the police, the ring was successfully recovered, and the culprit was apprehended.

During her visit to FMS dental and skin clinic, the daughter-in-law of Narendra Kumar Agarwal inadvertently left her valuable diamond ring on a side table. Taking advantage of the opportunity, an observant woman passing by noticed the ring and decided to steal it, discreetly placing it in her purse. However, as she realized the ring's significant worth, fear and anxiety started to overwhelm her.

The Hasty Disposal 

Driven by panic, the woman sought refuge in the clinic's washroom. Desperate to conceal the stolen ring, she wrapped it in tissue paper and hastily threw it into the commode, hoping to avoid detection. Little did she know that this impulsive act would eventually lead to her downfall.

Discovery of the Missing Ring 

Upon returning home, Agarwal's daughter-in-law noticed the absence of her cherished ring and immediately returned to the clinic to search for it. Despite extensive efforts and inquiries, the ring remained elusive, causing mounting concern. Subsequently, Agarwal lodged a formal complaint with the police, seeking their assistance in recovering the stolen ring.

Investigation and Recovery 

Determined to solve the case, DI Ramprasad and DSI Rajasekhar launched a thorough investigation. They meticulously reviewed the clinic's CCTV footage and questioned the staff, but initially, no substantial leads emerged regarding the ring's whereabouts. However, through persistent interrogations, one of the individuals involved in the theft eventually confessed to discarding the ring in the commode, providing a significant breakthrough in the case.

The Successful Retrieval 

Acting swiftly on the newfound information, the police enlisted the help of a skilled mechanic to remove the commode and associated pipelines. With the combined efforts of the clinic staff and the mechanic, the ring was successfully recovered from the water pipeline connected to the commode.
